8a.  Hath he invented a lie concerning Allah, or is there in him a madness?

7.  Wa  qaalallaziina  kafaruu  hal  nadullukum  ‘alaa  rajuliny-yunabbi-‘ukum  ‘izaa  muzziqtum  kulla  mumazzaqin,  ‘innakum  lafii  khalqin  jadiid.

8a.  ‘Aftaraa  ‘alAllaahi  kaziban  ‘am-  bihii  Jinnah.

Commentary

Muzziqtum – (will be disintegrated, caused to break into pieces), this word has come out from muzqun, which means “to be broken”. Tamziiqun means “to disintegrate”.

Mostly the mankind takes so much effect from the jollity of this world that he begins to consider it everything, and denies from coming back to life again after death and reckoning of accounts (of personal deeds) on the Day of Resurrection. When it settles down in his mind that there is nothing besides this world, then he begins to collect luxurious things easily and fearlessly. Contrary to him, the people who are convinced of the life after death and the Day of Judgment, they cannot enjoy the life of this world wholeheartedly.

Messenger of Allaah Almighty (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) said the same to the people according to the teachings of Holy Qur’an that the Day of Resurrection is Inevitable and you have to come back to life again after death. Lovers of this world began to joke him and say one to another mutually themselves in buffoonery mood: You would not have seen any such person. Let us direct you to that individual who will inform you that when you have disintegrated in complete disintegration, you will then be reproduced in a new form. Can it come in sense? It seems that he (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) has invented a lie about Allaah (God forbid) that he says so and so, or then (Let us flee to God) there is madness in his mind, because any intelligent person cannot bring out any such affair from his mouth.

Our Lord! Forgive us. It is the worst form of negligence.

Commentary

It is commanded: The Day of Resurrection will surely come because the people who believed in Allaah Almighty and did good works according to His Will, it is compulsory that good retribution should be given to them. These are the people for whom is forgiveness, pardon, reward and noble provision in the Sight of Allaah Almighty, that is to say, great blessings will be bestowed upon them without working hard, in a state of ease and comfort, because they continued obedience of Allaah Almighty during their worldly life, and controlled their desires in accordance with the Commands of Allaah Almighty. Now they will be caused to sit with respect and all such things will be provided to them by which they will feel themselves easy.

But the people, who passed their lives in the world trying to falsify the Revelations of Allaah Almighty, practising against His Commandments and showing by their words and deeds that (God forbid); Allaah Almighty can never harm them in any case, theirs will be a painful doom of wrath. The Day of Judgment is necessary for the purpose that the people who used their sense properly in the world and did good works, they should be bestowed with good reward of their good deeds, so that they may see with their eyes that Commandments mentioned in Holy Qur’an were entirely true which used to explain about the prescribed Path of Allaah Almighty.

4a.  Liyaj-ziyallaziina  ‘aamanuu  wa  ‘amilus-saalihaat.

Commentary

Laa  ya’-zubu – (is not absent), this word has come out from “’azuubatun”, which means “to be separated”. Here it aims “to disappear”.

Allaah Almighty knows all such things which are out of our sight and we are unable to know about them by our apparent senses. It is the reason that we become ready to deny them.

It is commanded: Nothing is unapparent from the Knowledge of Allaah Almighty. He knows every such thing which exists in the heavens or in the earth; whether that is only a particle or little than it or greater than it. Everything has been recorded in a Clear Register. The Knower of the Unseen has commanded to His Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him): Say to the people by taking Our Oath that the Day of Judgment shall come. You are convinced yourselves that Our Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) does never tell a lie. It has also been proved by clear evidence that whatever he (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) speaks; is entirely true. Then why do you not listen to him? Behold! Coming of the Day of Resurrection is incumbent because Allaah Almighty desires to give good retribution to those who believed in Him and after having belief in Him they did good works; and make them rich with His blessings. It is requirement of His Management that the mankind should believe in Allaah Almighty and do good works in worldly life for attaining its good fruit in the Hereafter.
