Consequence of injustice

Chapter RUUM”- (The Romans) – 30

‘A-‘uu-zu  Billaahi minash-Shay-taanir- Rajiim.

(I seek refuge in Allaah from Satan the outcast)

Bis-Millaahir-Rah-maanir-Rahiim.

(In the name of Allaah, the Beneficent, the Merciful)

56.  And those to whom knowledge and faith were given will say: The truth is, ye have tarried, by Allah’s decree, until the Day of Resurrection. This is the Day of Resurrection, but ye used not to know.

57.  In that Day their excuses will not profit those who did injustice, nor will they be allowed to make amends.

56.  Wa  qaalal-laziina  ‘uutul-‘ilma  wal-‘iimaana  laqad  labistum  fii  KitaaBillaahi  ‘ilaa  Yawmil-  ba’-si,  fahaazaa  Yawmul-  ba’-si  wa  laa-kinnakum  kuntum  laa  ta’-lamuun.

57.  Fa-Yawma-‘izil-laa  yanfa-‘ullaziina  zalamuu  ma’-ziratu-him  wa  laa  hum  yusta’-ta-buun.

Commentary

It was commanded: The people, who disobey the Commands of Allaah Almighty and deny Him, will be confounded after looking the horrible scene of the Day of Resurrection and they will say: Alas! How much immediately the world has been over. It seems that we could live there only for one hour. It is commanded: Wise people, who believe in Allaah Almighty, will say to them: You have been frightened and confused from Today’s fearful atmosphere as temporary cheer of the world had ensnared you in carelessness during your worldly life. You drew wrong result in both situations. Listen! In accordance with the Knowledge and the Scripture of Allaah Almighty, You dwelt in the world until the beginning of the Day of Resurrection. This term was sufficient for drawing as a correct conclusion, after thinking and understanding. Today is the Day of Judgment about which you were informed, but you did not care the Sayings of the Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him).

You did not try to understand the verses of Holy Qur’an carefully and were involved in worldly game and play in such a way that you did nothing save enjoying. If you had thought and understood, you would have prepared yourselves for the Day of Today. You have lost that chance. Now you cannot produce any reasonable excuse of your carelessness and nor there any such time exists that you are given respite to please Allaah Almighty by repentance and His obedience. It could be during your worldly life only. Today is the Day for giving reward or punishment according to your deeds, not for performing good gooks.

Old age and grey hair

Chapter RUUM”- (The Romans) – 30

‘A-‘uu-zu  Billaahi minash-Shay-taanir- Rajiim.

(I seek refuge in Allaah from Satan the outcast)

Bis-Millaahir-Rah-maanir-Rahiim.

(In the name of Allaah, the Beneficent, the Merciful)

54.  Allah is He Who shaped you out of weakness, then appointed after weakness strength, then, after strength, appointed weakness and grey hair. He createth what He will. And He is the Knower, the Mighty.

55.  And on the Day when the Hour riseth the guilty will vow that they did tarry but an hour – thus were they ever deceived.

54.  ‘Allaahul-lazii  khalaqa-kum-min  zu’-fin  summa  ja-‘ala  mim-  ba’-di  zu’-fin  quwwatan  summa  ja-‘ala  mim-  ba’-di  quwwatin  zu’-fanw-wa  shaybah.  Yakhluqu  maa  yashaaa-‘u  wa  Huwal-‘Aliimul-Qadiir.

55.  Wa  Yawma  taquumus-Saa-‘atu  yuqsimul-mujrimuuna  maa  labisuu  gayra  saa-‘ah.  Kazaalika  kaanuu  yu’-fakuun.

Commentary

Those people, who have correct concept of the Power of Allaah Almighty, they have no doubt in it that He makes changes in the condition of nations and countries as and when He considers it suitable. Feeble people can be strong by the passage of time and the strong can become old and weak. If someone has any doubt in it, he is being warned in this verse that – do you not behold that at the time of birth; the mankind is so much feeble and weak that he can do nothing save lying at a place? Then, slowly and gradually, strength begins to come into him and he becomes adult, his veins are full of strength and vigor. After that, his strength begins to decrease. If he has become old, his hair become grey. Understand from it that Allaah Almighty has full Power! But ignorant people do not draw correct results from the circumstances. They crook always, even after looking the afflictions of the Day of Resurrection; they will say wrong like this that – Ah! The world has been finished so quickly. It seems that we would have remained there only for one hour.
