Claim that Muhammad is Messenger of God

Surah Baniii ‘Israaa-‘iil (The Children of Israel) – 17

‘A-‘uu-zu  Billaahi minash-Shay-taanir- Rajiim.
(I seek refuge in God from Satan the outcast)

Bis-Millaahir-Rah-maanir-Rahiim.
(In the name of God, the Beneficent, the Merciful)

96.  Say: Allah suffeceth for a witness between me and you. Lo! He is Knower, Seer of His slaves.

97a.  And he whom Allah guideth, he is led aright; while, as for him whom He sendeth astray, for them thou wilt find no protecting friends beside Him.

96.  Qul  kafaa  Billaahi  shahiidam-baynii  wa  baynakum.  ‘InnaHuu  kaana  bi-‘ibaadiHii  Khabiiram-Basiiraa.

97a.  Wa  many-yahDillaahu  fa-huwal-muhtad.  Wa  many-Yuz-lil-  falan  tajida  lahum  ‘awli-yaaa-‘a  min  duniH.

Commentary

It is commanded to the Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) that he should say: Allah Almighty Himself is A Witness upon it that I am His Messenger. Do you not hear Holy Qur’an? Can it be the Word of any mankind? No! There is no one in the world who may prepare the word like This. Then what did happen with your sense? Do you not understand it that He is Aware of the entire circumstances of His slaves? He knows that what any mankind do. I claim that I am His Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) and He does not prevent Me from this claim while He knows everything. Not only He does not prevent Me but He bestows His Word (in the form of Holy Qur’an) unto Me. And He says in It clearly that I am Messenger of God Almighty. Even then, if you do not come unto the Right Path then it is “evil days” for you due to which He Has deprived you of the Guidance although you have sense. Guidance is in His Hand. The person, who does not use his sense but follows own wishes being involved into them, who does not meditate in the commands mentioned in Holy Qur’an but mocks, Allah Almighty does not guide such people, because He has settled the Holy Qur’an; means of Guidance and manifested it clearly through His Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him). But you should remember it that there is no protecting friend of the person; to whom He sends astray due to his evil days. He is Merciful for those who choose the Right Path.

A mankind for the guidance of all mankind

Quran Chapter 17  94 & 95 (Pt-15, Stg-4) (L-1843) درس قرآن

A mankind for the guidance of all mankind

Surah Baniii ‘Israaa-‘iil (The Children of Israel) – 17

‘A-‘uu-zu  Billaahi minash-Shay-taanir- Rajiim.
(I seek refuge in God from Satan the outcast)

Bis-Millaahir-Rah-maanir-Rahiim.
(In the name of God, the Beneficent, the Merciful)

94,  And naught prevented mankind from believing when the Guidance came unto them save that they said: Hath Allah sent a mortal as (His) Messenger?

95.  Say: If there were in the earth angels walking secure, We had sent down for them from heaven an angel as messenger.

94.  Wa  maa  mana-‘annaasa  ’any-yu’-minuuu  ‘iz  jaaa-‘a-humul-Hudaaa  ‘illaaa  ‘an-  qaa-luuu  ‘aba-‘asAllaahu  basharar-Rasuulaa.

95.  Qul-law  kaana  fil-‘arzi  malaaa-‘ikatuny-yamshuunaa  mutma’inniina  la-nazzalNaa  ‘alayhim-minas-samaaa-‘i  malakar-rasuulaa.

Commentary

Mutma’inniina – (satisfied, secure), this word is a subject and plural of the word mutma-‘in from ‘itminaan, origin of which is tamaan. Tamaaniyat means “peace and comfort”. ‘Itminaan means “to live at homes peacefully, comfortably and satisfactorily”.

It is commanded: Only this thing has prevented them from believing in Muhammad (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) as a Messenger that “if Allah Almighty had to send any messenger for our guidance; then He should have sent any angel”. This thought has been proved as licentious in the beginning of Suratul-‘An-‘aam (Chapter 6). Here, it has been described again that “Sending any angel; by appointing him as a messenger would be suitable then if the earth had been populated with the angels only; instead of human beings. If the angel was to be sent for the guidance of the mankind, they could not see him. And if he was seen, he would be seen at that time when he would be in the form of a mankind. After that it would happen that he had brought the tokens of his messenger-hood along with himself. In those tokens, the people would have the same doubts which they have now.

In fact, the tokens of the Messenger-hood of Muhammad (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) are entirely apparent, but they do not put into them faith because of perverseness. The Guidance has reached unto them but due to obstinacy they do not admit.
