Last stage of immorality

Suratun-Nahl – (The Bee) – 16

‘A-‘uu-zu  Billaahi minash-Shay-taanir- Rajiim.
(I seek refuge in God from Satan the outcast)

Bis-Millaahir-Rah-maanir-Rahiim.
(In the name of God, the Beneficent, the Merciful)

95.  And purchase not a small gain at the price of Allah’s Covenant. Lo! That which Allah hath is better for you, if ye did but know.

96a.  That which ye have wasteth away, and that which Allah hath remaineth.

95.  Wa  laa  tashtaruu  bi-‘AhDillaahi  samanan  qaliilaa.  ‘Innamaa  ‘indAllaahi  huwa  khayrul-lakum  ‘in  kuntum  ta’-lamuun.

96a.  Maa  ‘indakum  yanfadu  wa  maa  ‘indAllaahi  baaq.

Commentary

Yanfadu – (will be finished), origin of this word is nafada, which means “to be finished and to be wasted”.

Baaqin – (that which remains), it is the subject from the word baqaa’, which means “to escape, to remain, not to be finished”. Actually this word is baaqii, which means “remaining”.

It is commanded that while due to greed of temporary benefits, breaking old treaty of alliance and making new articles of agreement with someone else, is treachery and violation of faith, then turning away from the Covenant made with Allah Almighty is a certain proof of the weakness of sense and the last stage of immorality.

Keeping in view the casual advantages of the world, talking such words; by which one infringes the Command of Allah Almighty, he breaks that Covenant which he had made with God Almighty. Assuredly, that which exists with Allah Almighty is better for mankind than this world and its accidental pleasantness of life. If you understand it well then you will never be insensible in such way, that being careless from His commandment; you begin to collect worldly wealth, and do not value those favors and honors which He has prepared for His obedient servants; which will be given to them in the Hereafter.

Bear in mind this clear matter that the entire magnificence of this world will certainly go to an end, but that Favor which is ready with Allah Almighty, will never be finished. Understand it well now!

Cause of an awful doom

Quran Chapter 16  94 (Pt-14, Stg-3) (L-1759) درس قرآن

Cause of an awful doom

Suratun-Nahl – (The Bee) – 16

‘A-‘uu-zu  Billaahi minash-Shay-taanir- Rajiim.
(I seek refuge in God from Satan the outcast)

Bis-Millaahir-Rah-maanir-Rahiim.
(In the name of God, the Beneficent, the Merciful)

94.  And make not your oaths a deceit between you, lest a foot should slip after being firmly planted and ye should taste evil forasmuch as ye debarred (men) from the Way of Allah, and yours should be an awful doom. 94.  Wa  laa  tattakhizuuu  ‘aymaa-nakum  dakhalam-baynakum  fata-zilla  qadamum-  ba’-da  subuutihaa  wa  tazuuqus-suuu-‘a  bimaa  sadat-tum  ‘an-  SabiiLillaah.  Wa  lakum  ‘azaabun  ‘aziim.

Commentary

Dakhalun – (source of deceiving), this word has passed in Lesson # 1755 (verse 92a). Here it aims “source of misleading others and causing to excite a disturbance among the people”.

Tazilla – (slipping, trembling), origin of this word is zillatun, which means “slipping of a foot, to tremble”.

Sadat-tum – (you debarred), it is past tense from the word saddun, which means “to debar, to hinder”.

It is commanded that if you will break your treaties of alliance, then those people will be separated from you who joined you after looking your honesty, that you are impostors. And those will change their mind also who were desirous to join your community, that such people are untrustworthy who make new friends without delay for their slight benefits and leave their old friends. From such behavior, your fast friends will also be separated from you. Islam will be defamed and by observing your conduct, the people will slip away from the Path; fixed by Allah Almighty; after choosing it. By this, your community will be harmed severely, and consequently you all will be suffering from an awful doom.

Known from it is that the Muslims should never commit such acts; by which Islam is defamed and the people begin to run away from the Right Path.
