Summary of lessons from Chapter 13

Surah Ra-‘d (The Thunder) – 13

‘A-‘uu-zu  Billaahi minash-Shay-taanir- Rajiim.
(I seek refuge in God from Satan the outcast.)

Bis-Millaahir-Rah-maanir-Rahiim.

(In the name of God, the Beneficent, the Merciful.)

Lessons from Surah Ra-’d (The Thunder) (Chapter 13) ended on previous lesson. Let’s review its subjects again. May be that our luck awake up and by its correct and pure commandments, Faith in Realities succeed in taking place in our hearts, which have been mentioned in this Chapter.

It is the Teaching of Islam that the mankind should not be entangled in the works of the world only as much that he does not see above from it. It is duty of his sense that by looking the things artificially made; he should know The Artificer (The Creator) and bow before Him. For showing Straight Path to the sense, he should consider that Holy Qur’aan provides complete Guidance, which has been sent unto the Messenger of Allah Almighty; Muhammad (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) for the purpose that He should draw attention of the mankind unto perfect and higher value things, by putting them out from the difficulties of dropped down things. He (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) should convey the Message of Allah Almighty and by acting upon Qur’aanic Commandments, establish a model role of life for them.

Holy Qur’aan commands the human beings that they should meditate in the make of skies, stars, sun and moon, and take from it the first result that “there is none from the creatures who may create these things. Certainly their Creator is an Omnipotent, Who has established this entire universe.

Condition of the world is that where there is goodness; there is evil also. But you should remember it that at the end, the goodness is of use, whereas the evil fails and who supported it; missed too along with it. Those who obey the commandments of Allah Almighty are good people. Their end will also be good. They believe in Him, keep their relationship with other people correct and fulfill their promises. They fear Allah’s wrath and are frightened of deeds’ reckoning. They offer prayers regularly and spend their wealth on good works. Against these all good works they will be rightful owners of the Garden.

Whereas the people who go opposite to the above, they will burn in the Hell continuously without dying. Ease and comfort of this world is nothing. It will be finished very soon. But the Futurity (after life) shall be for ever. In the world, satisfaction of heart is hidden in the Remembrance of Allah Almighty. Know your Creator and His Attributes. Whosoever became of Him, would be in rest and peace – in this world; as well as on the Day of Resurrection.

Commentary

It was commanded in the beginning of this Chapter that Our Messenger Muhammad (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) has been reciting which verses before the people, those verses are of the Book, which Allah Almighty has revealed upon Him. Whatsoever has been described in this Book (Holy Qur’aan), that is entirely true. But some people deny ignorantly of this Book and they say to the Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) fearlessly: It is not sent by Allah Almighty.

In this verse, it has been commanded to the Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) that He should say to the people: Allah Almighty is a Witness that I am His Rightful Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) and this Qur’aan is His Word. Recite this Book and understand it. Every verse of this Word contains that sound, by which, Allah Almighty has been giving evidence Himself that Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) and He (God Almighty) are True.

Then those people who understand after hearing it and meditating, they begin to give evidence inconsiderately about the Uprightness and Truth of the both {Allah Almighty and His Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him)}. The one who possess the knowledge about this Book, surely he will be witness of its truth.

Like this, the people who have knowledge of the Scriptures before This Book (Holy Qur’aan) and the strip of bigotry has not been tied on their eyes, they begin to say unhesitatingly: Yes! Muhammad (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) is that last Messenger, the news of whom was mentioned in the old Scriptures.
